Cookie Policy
1. Scope
This Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on rostoria.co, including browser local storage and third-party Google technologies.
A cookie is a small piece of data stored by a browser. Similar technologies may retain preferences or transmit technical and analytics events without using a conventional cookie file.
2. Categories
Necessary
These technologies retain the user's cookie choice, support security and enable the website to operate correctly. Consent is not requested where a technology is strictly necessary to provide a user-requested function or the website's basic operation.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 helps Rostoria understand how visitors find and use the website, including pages viewed, traffic sources and interactions. Analytics is used only after consent.
External functionality
Google Calendar is embedded through a third-party <iframe> from calendar.google.com and displays available times and meeting booking. When the page opens, the browser connects to Google, which may use its own cookies and similar technologies. The exact technologies depend on region, browser settings, Google sign-in status and the user's choices within Google services.
Rostoria does not currently use Meta Pixel or intentionally place advertising cookies for personalised advertising.
3. Technologies used
| Category | Technology / provider | Purpose | Duration | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | rostoria-cookie-choice, local storage on rostoria.co | Retains the user's analytics choice | Until website data is cleared, the choice is changed or the setting is reset | Necessary function |
| Analytics | _ga, Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes browsers using a pseudonymous identifier and produces traffic statistics | Up to 2 years | Consent |
| Analytics | _ga_<identifier>, Google Analytics 4 | Retains analytics session state and data | Up to 2 years | Consent |
| Technical | Google Tag Manager | Loads and manages the GA4 tag; data depends on the tags configured | According to tag configuration | Consent for GA4 |
| Third-party functionality | Google Calendar, calendar.google.com and other Google domains | Schedule display, security, preferences and meeting booking; the iframe connects to Google when the page opens | Depends on the particular technology and Google settings | Consent for non-essential cookies and similar technologies where required by applicable law |
Google may change the set of third-party technologies. Google's current descriptions and durations are published on its “How Google uses cookies” page.
4. Consent controls
On the first visit, users can accept or reject analytics cookies. Rejection does not restrict access to the website's main content.
The analytics tag must not send data to GA4 before consent. Users can change their choice at any time through a permanently available “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
After withdrawal, new analytics processing stops. Previously stored cookies should be removed through the preference panel or browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
5. Browser and Google controls
Most browsers allow users to view, block and delete cookies and website data. Blocking necessary technology may prevent the website from retaining the user's choice.
Google technologies can also be managed through Google Account settings, Google Privacy Checkup and browser settings.
6. International processing
Google may process technical and analytics data in the United States and other countries. Further details are available in Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics documentation.
7. Changes and contact
This Policy is updated when the technologies used by the website or the applicable law change. The date of the current version appears at the beginning of the page.
